| Overflow Sturgis Bike Week traffic |
Mount Rushmore bound today. Checked out of our cute cabin and along with 10,000 bikers headed for the landmark. We didn't see a single wildlife creature because there were so many bikers and they made so much noise. Because it was so maddening to share the road with these crazies, we decided to stop early, having booked the last room at the historic State Game Lodge, just as it was beginning to hail, again. We're going to depart at the crack of dawn tomorrow to drive the Wildlife Loop Drive in the hope of seeing some cute cozy critters.
